Sister Anne Bursary 2026

"Special thanks to the Prairie Centre for Ecumenism for the bursary support and inspiration behind our Tone Chime Concert, which brought together guests from several Christian denominations. Churches along Highway 20, from Strasbourg to Nokomis, were invited to participate, and we were delighted to welcome the Lutheran Tone Chime Choir alongside participants from Calvary Church, the United Church, and the Free Methodist Church. Approximately 100 people attended the event, and we were grateful to have representation from every church invited. The concert was followed by a wonderful lunch and a meaningful time of fellowship.

The spirit of the event was beautifully captured in Reverend Buffam's analogy: a single tone chime produces only one sound, but when many chimes come together, they create beautiful music. In the same way, when churches come together in unity, they create something far greater than any one congregation could achieve alone."
