This year's De Margerie lecture (named in honour of Fr. Bernard De Margerie, who helped to establish the Prairie Centre For Ecumenism) is entitled "Now it Springs Forth: Looking for Ecumenical Movement with Fresh Eyes".

Guest speaker: Born and raised in Edmonton, the Rev. Canon Dr. Scott Sharman is the Animator for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations for the Anglican Church of Canada. His primary work and ministry today is coordinating the Anglican Church of Canada's ecumenical partnerships with various churches at the national level, including bilateral dialogues and commissions with the Evangelical Lutheran, Mennonite, United and Roman Catholic traditions, as well as working closely with the twenty-six Christian denominations which are members of the multilateral coalition known as the Canadian Council of Churches. He also represents the Anglican Church of Canada in a number of capacities in the interfaith context, working especially in the areas of Christian-Muslim and Christian-Jewish relations.
